Final Stock Market Post

Overall, my experience with the stock market was constantly up and down. After the first week, I was in the top three. Soon after that, I found myself in dead last and going further down. Throughout the game, I had many stocks but the one that I had for the longest time was Ford. Ford was up basically the whole time we were playing the game and made me nearly $16,000. So, in time, I slowly climbed back up to first place. Over more time, i stayed at about 16% total returns and declined slowly to about 12% and was no longer in first. I ended up in 5th place with just under 10% total returns. My overall experience with playing this game was a very good one and I had lots of fun playing in the stock market and learning about it.

I sold all of my shares of Ford and I am investing in Rangold Gold Company (GOLD) to try and make some more money. Nothing will happen probably, but it’s worth a try.

Stock Market is down today because of the job reports. Ford is only down about 0.7% though. My total returns are at about 13%. Since there’s not much time left in the game, I won’t be making any more changes in my stocks.

Stocks Market is up today. Ford is up 2.3% for today. I’m in 2nd place for the game. Not making any changes.

The Dow is up today. Most every stock is up. Ford is up over 1.5% today. My total returns are back up to almost 10%. Not making any changes today.

Stock Market is down today. Ford is down a litle bit but not too much. It’s been down for about a week and a half now and it was up for the whole month before it. My total retutn is hovering around 8%. Not making any changes.

Stocks are down today. My total rweturns dropped to barely over 8% and now I’m in 4th place. Ford is down about 1.5% today alone and and my weeks return is right at 1.4%.

All I have stock in now is Ford and it’s working out pretty good. It’s up about 1.3% today so far and it’s made me over $14,000 total. My total returns is over 11% and I’m back in first place. Not making any changes today.

I invested all of my money in Ford yesterday. Ford is down today though and my returns dropped and I dropped to 5th place. I’m not too worried because all of the stock market is down today. Not making any changes today.

Ford is down about 2% today so I’ve decided to sell 650 shares of Microsoft and invest more into Ford since it is cheaper than it has been.
